Guided Tours

In addition to being open for public worship, it is possible to visit the Church Building and see all its architectural features on a Sunday afternoon between 14:00 - 17:00 (16:00 October - March inc.). Trained guides are on hand to point out all the features of special interest in this amazing building. If it is not possible to schedule your visit between this hours then the Church can opened by special appointment, given a minimum of 48 hours notice via Fr Paul M Reece, The Rector, who can be contacted on +44 (0)208 952 0019 - Fax: +44 (0)208 537 0547.

Special arrangements can be made for groups wishing to include a lecture and or/demonstration of The Handel Organ. For groups of 25 or more, refreshments such as a typical English Tea can be laid on in the church hall.

Film Location

For those looking for a unique continental baroque interior for use in film, television or stills photography, the Church is quite used to accommodating such requests, be it costume drama or documentary. St Lawrence's is conveniently situated with easy access to central London - two tube stations being within 10/15minutes walk - the motorway network is 10 minutes away via J4 of the M1. There is a large parking lot available for a film unit and there is a large Hall complex with cooking and toilet facilities available as well. Facility fees are very reasonable given the uniqueness of this location.

Sound Recording

The recently restored Handel Organ is available for sound recording either as a solo instrument or with orchestra. There is ample room for an ensemble of 20 - 30 musicians on the "stage" and in the Sanctuary.
