Church Hall

The Parish is very fortunate to have a large Church hall and car park adjacent to the rear of the churchyard, and in addition to the use made by the congregation for social activities after church and during the year, the facilities are made available to a large number of local groups, including, but not limited to, a mother and toddler group, a day nursery, several keep fit and slimming groups, Friday Prayers for muslim gentlemen, an Asian men's fellowship group, Choral Society and young people's dance and drama groups. In addition to all of these, many other community organisations use the halls on an occasional basis, including local history and natural history societies.

As can be seen from the current selection of hall users, the hall is open to all, not just parishoners and congregation and use of this resource by the local community for community purposes is always welcomed.

The Church Hall has two public rooms, one approximately 6M by 15M and the other 12M by 20M. Both are warm and well lit with both natural and electric light. A substantial kitchen area between the rooms serves both through large hatches and doors and there are tables and chairs for at least 100. Toilets lead off from the entrance lobby. Parking for at least 20 cars is available adjacent to the hall.
