St Lawrence's is situated in one of the more ethnically diverse places in the United Kingdom, where, according to the last census, less than 30% of the Parish population is even nominally Christian. People from widely varied backgrounds are welcomed every week, and include a good mixture of young and not so young, joined by their wish to worship God.

Parish activities are varied with a number of get together occasions throughout the year in addition to the regular weekly fellowship that takes place. The Parish Barbecue is on 18th July this year. You'd be welcome!
